Zimbabwe is attending the three-day Africa Financial Services Investment Conference in London with Information, Publicity and Broadcasting Services Minister Cde Monica Mutsvangwa leading the country’s delegation.
This is the first time country is attending the annual conference, which is described as the largest Africa investment gathering in Europe and one of the most important globally.
Some 1,000 delegates and more than 40 business leaders from Africa are attending the event which comes at a time the continent has become one of the fastest growing regions in the world.
Zimbabwe will feature in a country focus session scheduled for this Thursday with briefings from Information Minister Cde Monica Mutsvangwa and Zimtrade chief executive Mr Allan Majuru among others.
The minister is expected to outline the country’s Transitional Stabilisation Programme and explain the raft of other reforms being implemented by the government to make the country more attractive to international capital.
The session will be hosted by the Zimbabwe is Open For Business Forum which was established to promote President Emmerson Mnangagwa’s vision by helping link investors with and opportunities in Zimbabwe.
